MoveIn is a mission movement comprised of 430 people on 95 teams in 95 neighborhoods in 45 cities in 12 countries on four continents. As a mission, MoveIn has helped develop leadership gifting in every person who moves in as part of a MoveIn team.Today there are 430 MoveIners, and more than 1,000 all-time MoveIners. Most MoveIners are leaders in one or more spheres: in their neighborhoods, in their church, in their workplace, in a non-profit team, or something else. There is no limit to the challenges of MoveIn’s vision: mobilizing “thousands of regular Christians to prayerfully move in among the unreached, urban poor globally.” MoveIn currently is building a staff team in Europe, and growing its mobilization efforts in Southeast Asia, Latin America and North America. As a movement, MoveIners live in neighborhoods that are unreached, urban and poor. But as Jesus said, “blessed are the poor, for theirs is the Kingdom.” MoveIn neighbors’ needs make them more receptive to the hope of the gospel.
