The Prayer Room:

This blessed room is located on the west side of the Church building—It is open 24/7 and call the office at 291-9199 to recieve the door code. You are encouraged to come and meet God there. Set up like an exercise circuit, you begin by spending time in praise and repentance and then can continue with the stations that are set up in the room or move throughout the room, praying for the different ministries that are represented. Information on how to pray for all the different ministries of the Church is found in this room. You will be greatly blessed by making this a weekly encounter with God.

All Church Prayer (ACP):

This group meets the last Sunday night of every month from 5:00-6:30pm in the sanctuary. This is a time for the whole Church to gather to worship and seek God.

Morning Prayer:

We meet from 7:30-8:25am each Sunday morning in Room 12, upstairs in the church. This group’s focus is on praying for the Pastor and the upcoming service. This group offers opportunities for personal accountability and encouragement, growth through study, and a place to use and grow your spiritual gifts that lift up the Church.
This group is led by Esther Leonard. Childcare is available upon request.

Women’s Morning Intercession Hour:

We meet in the upstairs intercession room, formerly the cry room, from 9:15-10:15am each week during the 1st service. Its purpose is to pray for the service as it is going on. It is Spirit directed and exercises the gifts of the Holy Spirit including tongues, interpretation, prophesy and discernment. It is a great hour to allow God to increase your passion for prayer and for the church, as you learn to pray under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Esther Leonard facilitates this women’s group.

Men’s Morning Intercession Hour:

We meet in the upstairs intercession room from 11am-12pm. It follows the same agenda as the women’s hour and prays for the 2nd service. Rick Berry facilitates this men’s group.

Summit Prayer (College/Young Adults):

This group meets on Mondays from 6:30-7:00PM upstairs in room 12. Our focus is on praying for the night's speaker and the upcoming service. The meeting is guided, so no previous experience in prayer is necessary! You have something to contribute!

Morning Prayer:

This group meets from 6:00-7:00am each week in the prayer room. This group meets to pray for God’s heart: His glory to be expressed through the salvation of all peoples in our community, state, country and the world. In addition, it prays for the expressed needs of MVCC missionaries and listens to the Lord for encouraging and prophetic words to be claimed and to be emailed to them. Kristyn Giesel leads this group.

Mom’s Prayer Meeting:

Meets from 9:00-10:00am at Kristi Sanborn's house (5058 N. Marjan - off of Shaw Ave, West of Locan). As a group they seek God's blessing for their children, the children of MVCC and the persecuted children throughout the world. Shelly Yarbrough (323-7963) leads this group. Children are welcome.

Junior High Youth Prayer:

Meets every Thursday night at 6:00pm in the Youth Room. Its purpose is to pray for the youth, for Pastor James and for the upcoming Youth Meetings. Zack Robinson leads this group.

Evening Prayer:

We meet from 6:45-7:45pm at the Church during AWANA.  The focus is on praying for the needs of the children and the parents that come to AWANA.  Susan Ponder leads this group.

Morning Men’s Prayer:

We meet from 5:15-6:00am each week in the Hospitality Room. This group focuses on praying for our Pastors. Pastor Fred leads this men’s group.

Guided Prayer Room Hour:

This group meets every Thursday of the month from 10:00-11:00am in the Prayer Room.  This will be a guided time of praying through the Prayer Room with a focus on asking God to pour out “His Spirit of Prayer” on us. Esther Leonard facilitates this group.

Senior High Youth Prayer:

Meets every Thursday night at 6:30pm in the Hospitality Room. Its purpose is to pray for the youth for Pastor Ken, and for the upcoming Youth Meetings. Anna Wilkinson leads this group.

Recovery Prayer:

We meet on Fridays from 5:15-5:45pm in the Hospitality Room. Its purpose is to pray for the upcoming Recovery meeting and for the needs of the people in Recovery. Kristi Sanborn leads this group.
