With
the book of Acts as a model, we can find inspiration in the three
parts of the birth of the Church: ten days of constant prayer
leading to Pentecost, one day of prayer witnessed by the whole city,
and then, many days of blessing that followed. For these reasons,
the Global Day of Prayer has three parts: |
May
1 – May 11
Millions of Christians will find ways
to begin praying night and day throughout the ten days leading up
to Pentecost. MVCC will be having its prayer room open 24/7 for these
10 days. Prayer
stations and themes will be new every 24 hours. Sign up to pray for
one hour a day. During these days we will also be having:
2 All Church Prayer Concerts:
May 1: 7:00pm - 8:30pm National Day of Prayer Focus
May 7: 6:30pm - 8:00pm (led by children) |
May
12 – August 9
As in the first Pentecost,
transformed Christians transform their communities, offering themselves
to God as the instruments through which their prayers are answered.
Throughout the ninety days MVCC will be strategically reaching out
to our community by blessing people in the Name of Jesus. Stay
tuned for upcoming events.
