Global Days of Prayer
The Global Day of Prayer is held on Pentecost Sunday every year. On this day almost every nation gathers to pray corporately. Believers in many countries of the world will lift expectant praise and desperate prayer with one voice in stadiums, open fields, community centers, private homes and even secret places to pray for world revival.
The First Thursday of every May. Two Events, Two Locations, Two Times. Come to Clovis City Hall or Fresno City Hall.
Located on the west side of the church building, it is open 24/7 and the door code is 23486. This room offers a quiet place to seek God. It has stations set up to help you learn how to talk with God for yourself, the Church and the world. The room changes often and provides you with many new prayer ideas. City-Wide Worship Nights
These Sunday nights are hosted by a group of local churches that have committed to working together to see Fresno/Clovis reached for Christ. These events are held 4 times a year.
This 10 week prayer mentoring program helps you grow in your intimate conversational relationship with God as well as teaches you basic ministry skills needed to disciple others. Weekly mentoring, study and hands on ministry experiences will teach you how to live as a radical, Holy Spirit empowered, follower of Jesus Christ. Triads start every February, June and September. Call the office if you are interested.
Workshops are held at various times throughout the year. Salvation, healing, prophecy spiritual gifts, listening, repentance, spiritual warfare, the baptism of the Holy Spirit are a just a few of the topics taught.
Throughout the year prayer studies are offered through Life Groups and through Prayer Meetings. MVCC believes that prayer is best learned by doing. Incorporating the principles of prayer into prayer meetings is our desire.
